how to get my car carb legal?

sup guys...i jus got back my swapped usdm ej20 into my gc8 and i'm looking to get it carb legalized w/ the sticker. I know the information is on the dmv website, but i can't seem to find it for some reason. Anyone know where to look? Thanks a lot!

they did help me. they told me to look on the dmv website. but im jus stupid and cant seem to find info about it. haha i guess ill just call DMV sometime next week.

here you go. I have been thru this. call them to setup an apointment. They will do visual inspection and smog.
just wondering who did your swap?

Go to the state ref at Alameda city college. I have the same thing done and they took care of me w/ no hassles.

koo koo thanks guys. SWAT i had it done by GT down in socal. they took about a month (not their fault) b/c the original crossmember that came with the engine was broken. however, they did a very nice job and very koo ppl too. brian and kevin have some nice rides too. ok thanks for the help. later

gt has good *** prices for swaps and they do have some tight cars... but i would have gone with lic if i wasnt going to do it myself

Hey also if you want someone to look over your car before goin to the ref lemme know. Since I had to get mine "state ref worthy" I pretty much know what they're gonna look for and be able to tell what you should add / fix / change or remove.

If I do it again, I would have Lic done it. GT left a lot of problems in my car when the swap was done.
