good luck on the car club setup. sounds like a hella of a deal with the school... what school is it?

It's at Stanford. We got a project car, too. It's the 1988 firebird which I posted on here a few monthes ago on how to restart it. We're swapping an LS1 into it and taking out the angle grinders and welder and making it into an all out roofless, glass-less drag car of death with only a roll cage and a 6 point harness to protect the driver...

We were gonna oroginally sell the car and get an old mr2 or a 240sx, but one of our new members who owns an 800 hp twin t3/t4 46 trim powered Mustang convinced us to stay with the domestic

Personally, if this is a garage where you will be working on cars, wouldn't you want a level surface to safely put the cars on jacks?

Yes, I do want to make a garage floor, which is as smooth as possible so I can roll around in a creeper.

Rainy season's coming in so we gotta do this quick, then put up an awning or some sort of cover.

I think he only means a few degrees of inclination, though, I'm sure jacking would still be safe.

For some reason, my friend's dad popped into my head. He would say, "Just hire some Messcans." That's his answer to anything related to getting any kind of work done.

I'm installing some irrigation.

"What'r you wastin' yer time fer? Just hire some Messcans."

I need to pour a pad in the backyard."

"Bah, Just hire some Messcans."

I have to get my spark plugs changed.

"Just hire some Messcans."

I have a cavity.

"Just hire some Messcans."

I need a haircut.

"Just hire a Messcan."
