Yup, it's all about the money. Same goes for these dog breeders. They talk all this sh**t about loving dogs, but they obviously don't mention the fact that "champion" dogs get put down if they're born with the a spot in the wrong place.

White German shepherd get put down because of the fact that they are born white and do not follow the correct colors of a "champion" German shepherd. The breeders don't want them living to make sure they don't spread "bad seeds" because if others are born, it'll bring the value of the dog down. How F**cked up is that! If you truly love a dog, rescue one.

There's lots of good dogs at the shelter that would love a family.
Alot of you know Chopper, I found him on the street, skinny as hell with infected cropped ears that some MF'er cut at home and bite marks all over his body. Luckily he was young when I got him, so hopefully he doesn't remember his abuse. Now he's the king of my house, he has his own couch looking out a window and is the most spoiled little monster ever.

Or how about those baby white seals that get pounded with a stick over the head. I'm sure we can make a long list of animal cruelty events. I understand a lot of people are not educated and I'm not going to hate on someone for having a fur coat or a full breed dog, but I think the world would change a lot if retail stores can have a movie playing that shows what an animal like a fox went through in becoming a fur coat. If the customer chooses to continue with the purchase then it's on them now.

true that...although i do have a full breed chow-chow, love him to death.

it sucks that this type of stuff does take place. the most unfortunate part about it is that people either don't know or don't want to acknowledge it takes place.

I worked for a dog breeder who wasn't so bad but it is heartbreaking to go to a dog show. And even the one's that aren't so bad are bad.

I had a dog named Chopper too! He passed away last Valentine's Day He was a 130# German Shepherd pound puppy.

That's cool. Chow-chow are cool dogs. A good friend of mine had one but she ended up getting hit by a car.

ah man, that's rather unfortunate.

i just wish that certain things were made known about the products and items we consume, that way, people would think twice before their consumption.

On KPIG they play a song called "Cows With Guns" and it's about the cows revolting. It's hysterical. Then they get backup from the chickens in choppers.

It's all about running into a few videos on the net that show what really happens.

I know what you mean. I try to eat humane raised organic foods but it gets quite expense. And too many health complications can arrise from a diet without animal product in it. I know a woman who was a veggie for 15 years and had to start eating meat at her doctors orders. She started to have problems with her kidneys. Humans were made to eat animals. It's how our body runs.

when I was a kid we saved a horse that had a shoulder blade crack. Was a race horse they were going to destroy.

This horse was literally scared of EVERYONE. They race these horses before they are truly fully developed. They work the **** out of them. Most don't love them or show them any attention that isn't negative and purely about running faster. They are broke for going fast that's it. I spent every day for months getting to the point where the horse would let me walk up to it. My stepdad damn near **** a brick when he say me jump in the caral with it. No one else could get in there without getting kicked. I miss that horse. Useless really as a horse. Couldn't ride it. Just feed it and love it....don't see the damage in doing that.

I know some folks with race horses...well know them. Some where good to them. Some not so good. It's a sad game. I don't gamble.
