No I don't. But I have sat in them. I just hate the blue and found them to be uncomfortable. If you like the look then that's all that matters. There's a reason people pay big money for them. People like them. You'll like them.

I just don't. I'd rather have knock off brides or rear recaro's out of an evo. At the price you got them... I'd have no remorse. You don't like them you can turn a couple hundred in profit easy.

TPS motorsports down the street from me will sell you some real nice bucket seats for 500$, you have to buy the rails though. You can even test em out at their shop. Im probably going to end up buying a pair.

Okay, cool. Thanks for clarifying. It all makes more sense now. LOL. Don't be jelly. Yeah, as for comfort man, I'll get a doughnut for my butt when my hemorrhoids flare up.

I can put up with a little pain for STI.

The version 7 seats were the best of the current year STi seats, when they brought the STi over in '04 they jacked them up. But I have one major complaint with the V7 seats, they are RHD. So the proper driver seat is the passenger seat in our cars. Which means the driver gets no height adjustment and me being 6'4 makes that really sucky. I'll keep my awesome stock seats that do everything I need them too.

If they are true V7 JDM seats, you'll have zero headroom.

I had to get rid of my STi seats because I was too tall. Not only were the seats way too wide for me, but they sat way too high. I'm 6'6", so even when fully adjusted and reclined, I only had about 1.5" of headroom which was totally unacceptable. I have no idea why Subaru would make a seat that sits so damn high, but I'm just glad it was easy to fix.

I've had a lot of different seats in my various Subies, but nothing is worse than the GD STi seats... (well, except maybe the WRX TR seats, lol!).

Here's what I have instead:

STi with sparco EVO 2 seat - YouTube

PS: Aren't you 6'6"?

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if the guy I bought them from does the same thing!

Before you mount them in the car, make sure they don't glow in the dark.

Otherwise, enjoy, putting STi seats in the WRX was one of the first things I did to spruce it up.

Thanks man!

Do you mean they might glow, cuz they've got nuclear radiation on 'em?

Yeah, I can't wait till they arrive in the mail.
