Yay!!!

I finally own my car. I made my last payment yesterday. Though I love the car, this is the first and last new car I will buy for myself (though I may have to buy a new car in the future for my wife).

I think I'm going back to my old habit of buying older cars and fixing them up. Next on the list is a 1970 or 1971 914-6. That or maybe a 1972 or 1973 911S.

 

Sounds like a good plan.

I am concerned for you though. It has been proven that a sudden change in financial obligations can put one into a state fo shock requiring treatment.

In order to avoid this potentially life threatening situation, you should make my car payment for a period of six months then gradually reduce the payment in $50 incriments for another 12 months.

With the number of people who showed up last Friday, no problem. I think the total came out to $14, including tip.

Scratch this Friday. I was just reminded that this Friday is Halloween. Maybe next week or the following week.

 

I'll be in Chinatown on Friday getting a haircut, so if I get there on time, I'll show up for a lunch meet again.

Since your car's paid off and you no longer have a bill from the financing company arriving in your mailbox, lunch is on you! Just kidding. Haha.

 

Yup, Lunch meet next week. I know I'm a flake, but work comes before lunch meets.
