Whats the best polish/wax out i can get to remove the swirl marks/haz from the paint..??

I also have some black plastic trim around the hatch, what works well on makin that look nice again?

1. Set the car on fire and start over.
2. Have it sand blasted and repainted or even powder coated.

PS. I've been thinking about it, I think it's kind of cool to disconnect the power steering, just makes parking a pain.

Claybars are usually only good for smoothing out rough surfaces and bringing out a nice gloss. If your hood is oxidized or discolored and you don't want to sand it down and paint it, an electric buffer and a nice rubbing compound will usually claen it up. And then go over it with a clay bar and a sealer/wax for the ultimate finish.

you will need a good buffer and polish to get it out, will be hard to do by hand and probably won't get all the imperfections out.
