Hey guys i was just wondering what you guys thought the best event was during halloween around here. Went to Gyros last year and it probably wouldve been cool, if i was ten. I really dont wanna goto another one and repeat what happened last year. Any ideas?

i pass by the fremont one every day. it looks like a piece of crap. like a flea market or crappy county fair setup, only with halloween decorations. they used to have one at the great mall but i dont know if thats still going on.

 

+1 for what he said. when i drive by it during the day it looks like a waste of time. however maybe at night the effect is better?

 

the parking at the pirates of emerson is a Biatch. i took my brother there one year, and ill never go back again.

My daughter went to the HH at Santa Cruz boardwalk Saturday and she had rave reviews about it. She's only 15 tho so that might rate up there with Gyros experience and I don't know if you think the one at Marine World is any good. There is this one in Vacaville up in the hills and unfortunatley the name of the ranch that hosts it escapes me. Maybe some Solono county folks can chime in here.

 

I went to fear factory in sf pier last year. It wasn't good at all. I think I could do better haunted house than them. waste my money..

 

Great America had a really good one like 3 years ago. Dunno if that's still going on. The best one I've ever been to and would love to go to again if i had the time is at Knots Berry Farms in Buena Vista. That is a real haunted house experience there. They go all out for that one.
