I'm taking the Justy down there as soon as I have new front axle boots and I find this weird noise up front. Already did a little mudding last weekend, 4WD is working fine and my miniature RE92's seem to work well too.

I used to go to Hollister alllllll the time in my Pathfinder and with my friend who has a Jeep. We almost lost the Jeep once. Good times. I saw a guy on the playground slide and take out one of those railroad ties with his front suspension.

Probably the best time down there though has been in rental cars. Get an Explorer or something and go to town.

Yea, I was with the guys who offered to help get that guy out. We were in two lifted grand cherokees and one wrangler. Your car looked clean.

There were a few areas that were open enough to blaze through 1st and 2nd gears and let her rip. I got some stink eyes from people that had to drive through my dust clouds. I left soon afterwards, I think speeding is frowned upon.

Even if they werent im guessing a ranger would give you crap.

But if you have a 4x4 OMG this place is heaven! so many rutty areas, rocks, everything you could imagine.

i didnt bother with the blue square trails, i gave up 2 hours of dirtbiking just for my skidplate bashing adventure, haha no blame on anyone either, it was fun to check out.

yeah me too, kinda the only reason i bought the dang thing.

I will always rally, but no more mud...i learned that from when my mom took her OBS wagon into the shop and the mechanic said "maam the bottom of your car is coated with mud"

mom "what the hell did you do to my car?!?"

me "we live in the mountains and theres mud on the road...sometimes"

Nice. When I put on new struts there was grass and mud cakes falling out of the strut tops/dust boots
