any seniors out there? i know colleges are coming out with their admission info right now. Where did you guys get in?

 

Is that time of the year? Man I remember that ...can't believe it's been 4 years. It was a pretty stressful and ****ty time since I got rejected to most places.. Luckily I'm at UC Davis right now and ..well i can't say I'm happy since I've been studying my *** off for finals. But good luck to you man, where did you apply?

 

well I was just there, last year.

College admissions were tough dude, its not a great time to be a white male lol. (diversity :/ )
I had an 1860 on sat's, 27 on act, 3.3 unweighted gpa, 3.9 weighted (colleges didnt care)

I applied as a Mech. Engineer to:
UC Davis
Cal Poly
University of Washington
University of Colorado, Boulder
Oregon State

I got into to UC Boulder and Oregon State. Set to go to CU Boulder in August
I petitioned my app. to UW, it made it all they way to the board, but the school was filled. UC Davis had 40,000 applications last year and they accepted 5,000.

im a transfer student and i got rejected from SDSU and have gotten accepted to Davis WOOT! I am still waiting on UC Berk, UCI, UCSD, UCSD, SJSU, and UNLV. Ill update when i hear back.

What about OP you in HS are just curious about this years chosen few. Its getting harder and harder to get in because of budget cuts.

 

yea this year is definitely crazy.

so far i got into Davis, Irvine, and San Diego.

Berkeley comes out on the 26th. gota be a frekain asian and go there right?...

im planning on majoring in Business so Berkeley would be my dream school.

 

HAAS is insane. if you get into it goodluck!

 

i didn't apply anywhere, but im thinking of going into automotive technology or industrial design.

Haas is definitely a awesome school. I have 3 cousins that have graduated from there and 1 more thats graduating this year. I don't get why a lot of bay area ppl hate Berkley. I personally think its pretty awesome but i guess that's a college kids view point.

my friend who applied for same schools as i did has a better gpa and sat score but he didnt get accepted anywhere. i really wonder if they check every single application.

 

the acceptance letter plays a pretty big role in whether or not you get accepted as well. (so i've heard)

When did they change the scoring on the SAT? When I took it the max was 1600 I think?

2 800 point sections.
