I have 2 questions
1 : is there a difference between the Sti downpipe and 03 wrx down pipe
2: if I put two gallons of e85 is my car going to pass the smog UNTIL I find out whets the problem with my car.

The only difference seems to be external for fitment purposes, but the downpipe itself should be internally the same.

Can it pass? Well, it can, but YMMV.

1: They are different, but I highly doubt one will pass if the other fails.

2: Can't answer this one for you, haven't needed to do it on my car. Searching has resulted in very different conclusions.

Again, why are you not passing? If you could give us some more information, we may be able to help you out more.

The bracket is different between the 2. The sti has a shorter bracket to work with the 6 speed. Everything else is the same.

Put on a stock downpipe, reflash to your stock tune, and that should pass you. Sounds like your tune could be the problem.

Not sure why you put 100oct in but something isnt working if you cant pass with that. If I was you I would check your cats (temp) & o2 sensors (volts). Are you getting any check engine codes?

A) You have a very bad misfire

B) The cats in the 03 downpipe are shot

This really isnt rocket science. Your HCs are almost at 150 and CO is nearly 2% with the stock tune.

Looking at your numbers Id say your MAF needs to be cleaned or replaced and just incase borrow someone elses DP as well.

This advice is assuming you only have a stage 2 setup and arent running different cams etc.

Btw running a lower octane would benefit over higher octane. E85 burns cleaner (not the higher octane). If you get a bottle of heet its for the methyl alchohol clears up water in the gas tank burns cleaner. But yeah looks like the cats might be bad.
