Got pulled over today!

Was driving on hwy 29 from Vallejo to Napa and boom CHP pulls a ***** in AC. Pulls me over for some tag issues since I just bought the car. Then pops me for tint and exhaust. Luckily no fix it ticket! Says my hks carbon ti is "too wide".
Wtf?

It was just funny, I wasn't speeding, actually going under the limit. And boom comes up scopes it out and. BLURP! It's my first time in this car, and first time ever getting pulled over.

Simply because they see any mods and it gives them "reason" to check it out to see if there are any big violations, if not, they just give you pointless tickets for what they can find.

Not too bad.

With my 240sx I got pulled over at least once a month.

It just blows getting profiled. I seriously drive careful all the time I'm not spooling up every chance I get, my exhaust isn't ridiculously loud either. As far as fix it tickets how do those work.
Fix it, get it signed, done?

Yeah it definitely sucks being profiled but its part of the deal when you drive a wrx or STi in the Bay Area. I've been pulled over twice for the way my car looks and I have no tint and a stock looking exhaust.

It's hit and miss with some cops. Luckily this guy wasn't and the fact my record is spotless helped too.

Why don't cops give ticket to Harley guys? Their exhaust are damn loud too!
