infineon raceway is in the bay area if 1320 is your only cup of tea.

 

im from the monterey bay area, if they still had the 1/8 at Laguna Seca id be all for that but i have no idea why the shut that down. id go to infineon, but its kinda a drive just for one night.

someone tried to do this like 3/4 years ago and got shot down.

 

They shut it down cuz it was too noisy for the chief of police's wife, since they live in the area. What did they think moving next to a race track??

 

r u serious? that has got to be the biggest pile of bs ever! my mom has worked at laguna for like 12 years, and there are always people complaining about the noise, even people in carmel valley. but none of them ever got anywhere with it. hell they even added the night race(finally). but oooo, the cheif of polices wife doesnt like the noise. thats such bs!

 

I always wondered why they closed Baylands.....that track was always busy! but Fremont got all butt hurt and closed the track, I dont remember the exact reason...but probably so they could build the stupid automall......grrrrr
