help please

can anyone tell me how to remove my trunk. i am doing a swap with someone and need advise on where to begin and what to do. thanks

Unbolt it from either of the swing arm things (4 bolts?), and if you have a wing, unplug the power connector and pop off the little black plugs that hold the wire to the swing arms.

If you're swapping with a different weight trunk (ie, big wing, or CF trunk) swap the springs too, it will be the hardest part. Basically you need a big screwdriver, stick it in one of the little "boxes" where the spring contacts the trunklid, and lever it to release the tension on the trunk so you can close the little spring mount (it's on a hinge). Do the same thing on the other side, and then in reverse to reinstall.

i am swapping my winged trunk for wingless so do i still have to swap the springs?

Yah especially then...you'll have an insane catapult trunk if you don't. It's not that bad, if you need a hand let me know, but from the list of parts you're selling now, I'm sure you can figure it out.
