Help me find a bike (Fatty needs to lose weight!)

Dont need anything crazy, just looking on CL for bikes around $300 or less but I know absolutely nothing, the last bike I bought was some POS from Target like 10 years ago for $90

Anyone have any suggestions on what to look for, or if you have a bike for sale let me know, thanks!

How tall are you?

What kind of riding are you looking to do?

I'm assuming you want a fixie? Haha jk, yeah tell us more about your riding goals..

I've got a swobo bike that is basically a giant bmx bike (its super light, pedal brake, and has reinforced rim sidewalls so I can jump curbs) but its a full sized bike so I don't feel cramped on it

Great deal on a nice bike which would be a decent fit for someone your size. Don't know if it's still FS. Also, no connection to seller, just remembered the killer deal. Almost bought it myself just for the parts.

I'd consider just going to a local bike shop, sitting on different bikes and take them for a spin. Hopefully the sales there will let ya know which right set of inches are for your height and your body type, since some legs are longer than others. Then from there you can shop around.

Kinda like getting a measurement for a suit, gotta get measured to get something to fit right. That's if you're planning to get a decent set of wheels and do some riding to lose some real weight.

I know a guy that can get great deals on new bikes. PM incoming.

Any Bridgestone is going to be sweet. The RB-1 and the MB series are great. Here is one that is a little out of your price range but would be a nice road bike for anyone.

1992 Bridgestone RB-1 56cm

I've got this bike in my basement pretty much unridden. My brother took the light off because he's retarded but parts to put it back on cheap. Otherwise brand friggin new.

It's a very limited New Belgium Brewery city bike. Brown. Internal 3 speed I think it is.

I'm looking for a new bike... I need a cruiser. I'm also looking for an old school road bike. CHEAP. It's for my trainer.

Krink - cruise by California Sports at Harbor/El Camino in Belmont. They often have nice classic road bikes for sale for around $100 or so. I picked up a '93 Rockhopper for my wife for $75 too. Also you can take one of my bikes for a spin one of these weekends and see what style you are looking for. I have a MTB ('04 Rockhopper w/ all kinds of stuff, blingy discs, nice shock, etc), single-speed MTB, and a single-speed road bike that I built over the last few years. You would probably be looking for something around a 56cm or so road bike I would imagine.

I wouldn't get a fixie unless you want to look like a retard whilst crashing.
