I can see you hating Mopars, it's fine.

That said my company vehicle is a Grand Caravan, albeit a stripped down model with the interior stripped out and turned into a cargo hold.

Almost everyone hates them until they drive it enough. I wouldn't replace it with anything, well except an AWD Dart. I throw marketing materials, parts and panels, hell, I even had a crate engine in there recently. Thing does great, and believe it or not it has plenty of punch.

The Impala's a blast to drive and it's what my Father got my Mother. He enjoys it better than his Silverado2500 and a bonus is it gets 28-30mpg consistently.

As for the Mazda IMHO the 3 is a nice car, not too great for taller people in back, skip the Skyactiv if you are cool with 3 less MPG but a nicer power curve if you get the manual.
