3. STi is faster than all benz and bimmers of it's price range.
4. Hearing the turbo spool on the STi.
5. Cheaper maintance for the STi compared to Benz and Bimmers.
6. Bimmers have electrical problems.
7. Prepare to get hated on if you drive a Benz or Bimmer at your age, not that you wont get it in a STi, just less

Okay, that's all i can think of right now, i'll add more as i think of more hope this helps

Awesome.

subaru's are more practical...
awd: can go to tahoe, can track, can drive around town as well
also more reliable...

i was faced with this decision as well at one point: 330ci, WRX, or c320. i chose WRX, found it easier to mod, easier to repair (not that i repair it anyway ), and it was just more of a car that was my age at the time.
i was fortunate not to buy a benz as my friend bought one during the same time and she almost qualified for the lemon law her first year.

however.. with that said, i also have a m3 now hahahahahaha

This is what he should say......
I rather you guys (the parents) buy me a cheaper and more reliable japanese car. Then take the remainder of the money, which is about 10k, and put it into an investment account for my future. Hopefully that will work.

I hear that BMW "i-drive" thing sucks. I think they call it "why drive". Get the STI unless your parents are gonna throw down for an M5 or SLR.

It's cheaper to repair, LESS OF A THEFT TARGET!!!!, safer (AWD), cheaper insurance (than an M5), and last but not least.............all your friends parents let them have one.
