Yup, tried hammering in the impact socket with a dead blow rubber mallet and it still wouldn't go on. Also tried putting in nails and drill bits into the socket and around the lug nut to fill in the gaps and hammering it in. It got in there tight but once I put on the torque wrench and turned, all that did was flatten the nails, a drill bit and break another drill bit in half. These wheel locks are strong! Tomorrow morning, I'm gonna walk the 2 miles and if I don't see my wheel lock on the side of the road, I'm gonna go to Sears and get this and see if it works:

Lesson learned the hard way! Hopefully it'll save some pain and heartache for others in the future.

Hey so is it a Subaru OEM wheel lock or is it a Gorilla lock?
I have Gorilla locks on my integra that you seen the earlier today and a key for it. You can come check it out tomorrow if you want. Let me know

It's a lock that looks like one of the wheel locks made by Gorilla but they have several types and yours wasn't the same. Thanks for trying though. I posted a link to it above so you can see what the wheel locks look like and what the key should like. I actually got the bolt extractor/removers from Sears today so if that doesn't work, then I'll have to use some creative brute force to get it off.
hmmm... doesn't sound right. You are not suppose to bite onto the spline area. You should try to bite on the top/head instead. The impact socket should be too small to cap over the nut at all. Use one that is just a hair smaller and hammer it onto the nut. It should bite into the lock/nut leaving mark as well as allowing you to turn it.

I went to check the one in my car to help you out but mine is marked McGard. I thought all OEM Subaru wheel locks were made by McGard or do they vary by dealer?
The ones I got from the dealer are...they look something like this:

Tried again tonight with an assortment of sockets (although they were 6 point and not 12 point). No luck at all either. I was able to get a 15mm socket over the top/head and I couldn't turn it with my hand but once I got the torque wrench connected to the impact socket, it just slide around the top. I even stopped by America's Tire in Mtn. View and they said that they could remove them but it may scratch my wheels. Anyhow, kept thinking of ideas and came across this:

I'm going tomorrow afternoon to the Harbor Freight in Newark tomorrow. Anyone else want a set to have for future use? I can pick up and drop off in SF or Peninsula area. I hope this is what I need.

3/4" socket (1/2" drive) 12 point, you'll have to use a small sledge and beat it on, then it'll come off. I just had to take all four of mine off because the ghey shop torqued them waaaay too hard...broke my key trying to take off the first one...

Tried a 12 point 3/4" socket and it didn't work. It was too big and the next size down is too small. However, I also got something very similar to this today from Sears (the one I got was only 3 pieces) and from fitting it on with my hand it looks like it'll work.

However, with the one i got, the socket attachment is in the middle of the tool since it's a 2 in 1 tool where both ends can be used.
Also, the one I got yesterday didn't work:

Thanks for all of the help everyone. I tried all of the recommendations including using a long impact socket, a variety of bolt removers made specifically for this and the only one that worked for me was the Sears "Lug Out" kit. Not all Sears stores carry this and it is $29.99 and has 3 double socket pieces. Looks like the one I got isn't available online but the 6 piece version is Sears part #00934916000 and has more sizes. In any case, these are handy to have and is worth it's weight in gold when you've lost your wheel lock key. However you have to use an impact gun to use these effectively.
With this personal experience, it's interesting to note how many tire stores DON'T have such a tool and have never heard of such a thing. They should all invest in it since it would pay for itself after one customer.
Anyhow, thanks everyone for offering to help!
