Help, in desperate need of Subaru wheel lock key in SF area.
Thanks for all of your guys help. I was able to remove it with a tool made specifically for this from Sears. See page 2 for more details.
Hey guys,
Anyone in South SF, Daly City or SF that has a Gorilla type acorn spline Wheel lock key (edited b/c I found out that it is definitely not OEM) that I can borrow? I was trying to remove my wheels yesterday and forgot that I left the wheel lock on the lug nut and drove off with it so it's gone. I want to remove the wheels today but can't. Anyone have one that I can borrow for a few hours? I can pick up. Please IM me.
Thanks!

BTW, the actual lug nut looks like a tuner lug nut (Moteki) but it's much shorter. I remember the key has a 19 imprinted on it and two sizes of sockets can actually fit on it (19mm and maybe a 21mm I believe). Anyone have this?

I remember that someone said that you can go to the Subaru dealership and they can see which wheel lock you have. Good luck on finding a key.

Thanks for the offer guys, I guess unless someone in SF, South SF or Daly City has one tonight that I can borrow, I won't be able to take my wheels off tonight and all of what I'm trying to accomplish won't be possible. Anyone?
Otherwise, I'll go to Carlsen Subaru tomorrow and see if they have a wheel lock key that fits my wheel locks.

I guess you guys don't quite get the meaning of "LOCK". What you're basically saying is something to the effect of, "I locked my keys in the car. Can someone bring me another key?"
While there might not be as many key combinations with the wheel locks, your chances are still ~5% that someone has the same key lock combination. It's not like a McGard lugnut key.

Yeah I lost my key once. You can't just get any Subaru key to open it. You need the specific one you had. Do you still have the packaging or the stuff that came with the lock/key set? If you do, there is a piece of paper with a code that you can send out for a replacement key. It'll cost like 15 dollars or something. I had to do that, took about a week or two to get here. I think some tire places can help you take it off but will ruin your lock/key.

I looked at my wheel locks and it says 219RH/T. No brand though but the wheel locks looks like a spline lug nut and only fits in one way b/c one of the "teeth" on the key is longer than the others so it only fits in once when you rotate it 360 degrees. Is any of this helpful to identify the maker and where I can get a replacement key?

Just did some research and it looks like a Gorilla wheel lock but it doesn't say Gorilla on the lug nuts though. If it is indeed a Gorilla lock, I'll have to take one off and get a replacement key for it. this sucks...

Hmm, thought about this some more and I think that the Gator Grip socket may work to remove my wheel locks. It would also work for people who lose their spline lug key too. Will report tomorrow on success/failure.

yo benny! any luck!? if it's subaru OEM lock, you should be able to borrow the key from the dealership. otherwise use a impact socket, hammer it in and turn.
happened to me once and it was cake walk to remove it. I gave up on wheel locks since.

Hey guys,
Thanks for all of the offers for help so far. Tried pretty much everything today. Went to Sears Auto, they had nothing, bought some new sockets from Sears, the 19mm and the 3/4" fit well but just rotate completely if I use a wrench, the Gator Grip socket isn't shallow enough, went to Carlsen Subaru, they had nothing that would work, tried different sockets from my neighbors, met up with another user above, etc. Arghh, I know that the missing wheel lock key is no more than 2 miles away from my house. I'm thinking about walking the entire 2 miles tomorrow morning and see if I can find it on the side of the road. Otherwise my only option is to strip the lug nuts with a bolt removing tool from Sears. If anyone else has any suggestions or perhaps a lug nut key that will possibly work, please let me know. My patience is running thin and my new tires should be arriving next week.
BTW, my locks looks like the Acorn style one in the pic below (so you can imagine what the key would look like):

Gorilla does offer keys but unfortunately I bought the car used and it didn't come with the serial # for the locks.
