Unhappy Help... I need an oem suby wheel lock key.

I know... what a rookie move. I've looked everywhere... I'm just hoping the key is standard. could someone chime in if they know otherwise? I just need to meet up with someone who's got one and take them off so I can put my other wheels back on.

Thanks in advance,

Ash

wait a sec. so if wheel locks can be opened by other wheel lock owners, is there a point in having them? are tehre any OTHER secure-r ways of protecting wheels?

i'm thinking those wheel locks are just to prevent thiefs from just snatching your wheels with a regular 19 mm socket wrench. If they really wanted your wheels....they'd get them. Same way how they can even tow your car if they really wanted it.

dealership has the master key. that's why they never ask for your key (as long as it's oem) when they rotate/balance your tires.

Bolt outs. Get them at Sears or Home Despot.

Bleh just come by on monday night and we'll get that wheel lock taken care of, i even have a torque wrench in my car if you wanna bring the other lug nuts......or you can just borrow my key and give it back later =P https://www.i-club.com/forums/meetings-events-donuts-91/msb-moving-san-bruno-starbucks-sb%5E2-bayhill-shopping-center-1718/

I don't think there's a "master key" as all the keys should be the same. This is the same way for other kinds of lugnuts. I have two set of the same kind of lug nuts and the keys that came with both are interchangable.

Actually there is a 'set' of master keys. I guess you just so happen to have the same. That would suck if they are really all the same. I know it's there because I've seen it. Subaru techs have a box full of keys, I think there were about 20 of them or something.
