Your cousin should just hire Brucelee to kill him...

...I'm sure the cops are too busy munching on donuts to care about some illegal alien anyway... their lives aren't worth the cost of the damage to the Integra, right??

Right, and that is so stupid. I have a new motorcycle at home and I am not riding it yet even though I am a good and experienced rider because.... DUN DUN DUN... I don't have a license yet. It is very messed up, whether "the law" or not, that I would get in trouble simply because I am a citizen of this country, where this fellow would not because he is here illegally.

Maybe instead of calling 911 and saying he was hit by an illegal w/ no paperwork he should have said the guy had a WRX w/ tint, no front plate, a shiny BOV and tried to race him..........

Yes, thankfully the curb did not press charges so I was let off, but when I got my bike insurance it said there was an "at fault accident with bodily injury" stated on that date. My insurance guy is working on it now.

Pretty sad how we have such little faith in police... My experience stripped away all the respect I had left. The worst part about it is that I cannot imagine it can change.

If your cousin has collision cov then the insurance will pay for the dmgs minus his deductible. If they can determine that the OWNER of the other vehicle wasn't insured then they may pay for the ded. If you don't have collision but do have uninsured they may be able to pay as well.

Depends on the company. If you don't have collision OR U1 then your prob out of luck.

sounds like insurance will pay it minus the deductible. then the insurance company will go after the other guy and most like get absolutely nothing. They'll probably try to get your cousin's deductible back for him or he can do it himself and once again get nothing.

This is a pain in the butt. I live in watsonville and there are THOUSANDS of illegal and uninsured motorists out here. The government can make us get insurance but if people want to risk it or can't get it (illegal) there is little protection for law abiding citizens. And unfortunately this country is way to tolerant to illegals.

O.k. you folks can blast me and call me a racist but it's the ****ing truth.

sorry but your cousin is lucky he is a law abiding citizen and has full coverage. Sounds like his insurance company is gonna take care of him. He's out $500 but it could have been MUCH worse.

I'd go after the dude in small claims.
