for an 02. make sure your security light doesn't flash when the car is unlocked (if it does, with the drivers door open hold the unlock key until it doesnt flash, this will take it out of valet mode) then to get the honking press and hold both buttons until it honks (it'll do either the single or double honk, it wont set off the alarm...if it does, oh well)

cool, i fixed it. you have to have the doors unlocked when you press the unlock/lock buttons simultaneously. thanks for the help.

 

on my 07 the chirper keeps going out i have had it changed by the dealer twice
