problem fixed

 

isn't this normal? my car never beeps when i lock it, unless it's only on the newer models?

 

my car always beeped... till today.......

 

hold both the lock and unlock buttons at the same time for (I think) 2+ seconds (until it beeps)

Some how your car got the beep turned off (I swear, I think these thing shave a mind of their own, mine does weird stuff). If this doesn't work, maybe your beeper is borkd

 

just tried the 2 button hold, nothing.... no flash, no beep... help?

 

maybe it got put in valet mode. when the car is unlocked/unarmed is the security light on the dash flashing?

 

i only have keyless... no security... (shhh, don't tell anyone LOL)

 

uhm if you look at the back of the alarm remote it will tell you.

 

maybe I should take a look at it...whats your address? :-D

what was the problem?

 

it must of happened when i was loading the car... car was unlocked and somehow the unlock button was held down for 2sec and it shut off the beep

 

anyone know how to fix it for an '02? or if i even can? , i'm pretty sure holding down the unlock button for 2 seconds would set off my alarm. and i tried holding down both, but nothing happened.

 

for an entire year, my car never honked,beeped, or flashed any lights when i locked it. then one day out of the blue, it would flash and beep when i locked it. i was so happy, then it stopped.

anyone know whats going on??

 

from locked, try pressing unlock, then press unlock&lock again and hold for 2 secs.
