Help: anyone happend to have a TXS DP handy?
I tried to install the stealthback today and the TXS DP doesn't even come close to fitting. I'm thinking I got a bad unit...I got it used so not sure what to do if it is bad (the guy I got it from never mentioned having problems). The thing is, the pipe looks fine, the flange seems flat and no apparent bending or warpness.
I was hoping to compare someone else's with mine. I never read of anyone having fitment issues with their TXS DP so I'm just hella confused.
oh...and happy halloween

hey dan, how isn't it fitting? Is the dp hitting something and thats preventing it from going on the turbo studs? I've never heard of anyone have fitment issues with the turbo xs products before, and the few i've installed all went on without any problems.

yeah it's weird...
I'll try to post pics on it...
basically I am able to get the DP on the studs, but the bottom of the DP is hitting the crossmember, preventing the the top from mating flush w/ the turbo outlet.
It's as if the DP was bent, but it has no signs of being crushed or modified.
I am hoping to compare with someone else's (who happens to have a none mounted DP)...it's a long shot, but I figure no harm in asking. That way i can directly compare and see if this one is clearly damaged. I also plan to contact TXS, but I doubt I'll get much help since I got it used.
on a side note, I noticed you're changing things around on your set-up...are you trying to break into the 11s?
