Thumbs up Help!!! 03 wrx wagon

So I have a problem with my 03 wrx. When I have the key inserted in the ignition @ the on position the fan for the engine turns on for about 10 seconds then shuts off, then comes on. When the car is @ idle is still continues. What is wrong with my car? If anyone can help thanks!

if the engine is warm its just trying to cool since youre not moving and choking the radiator,
but if it does it with a cold engine you have a problem

not sure there is a problem.. after a while the fans turn on to cool down the motor.. the fans should turn on two times before the coolant reaches it operating temperature
