American muscle is all about going straight, I'd much prefer a car that can handle a turn as well as it can handle a straightaway. Granted a Corvette can handle a turn but a mustang, nope I'm not believing it will without a better suspension.
Also the Cobra does not have the live axle in the back like the GT which makes it handle way better. But I'm still not ascared! and yes my car is close to stock and still has the stock turbo and up/downpipes
Jew: how much power can be put to a rear mustang GT axle before it breaks and/or throws the car into a spin?

Wow. There are some serious misconceptions in this thread.

Your very misinformed. For 1 if all you have is up and down pipes with no EM or boost control, i highly doubt your putting down 216 to the wheels. The 04' STi puts down between 230-240 to beat the Cobra. Did you see the "HOT ROD" article. They said that the Cobra and the STi were really close at the drags. Not the WRX. I am a big fan of the WRX and the STi but you need some schooling. Also if that Cobra had minor suspesion upgrades(springs and swaybars) he would lose you in the twisties. Give respect where respect is due! To the car. That drivers sounds like a total **** but that car is pretty sweet.

I've only skimmed through this thread, but different dynos yield different numbers. Some higher than others.

And also the cobra's can run high 12's stock, it just depends on what kind of tires they are on.

2. So you have an MBC and you put down 216whp? Hope you're saving up for a new shortblock or at least a turbo. lol
