adult swim the channel that does family guy and king of the hill and robot chicken and such? if so we get that in HD at my house. I think its channel 766.

but i agree my bedroom tv on regular channels looks better. If i am in my living room i try to just watch all hd channels or record all my hd shows.

I guess I am not understanding why my older tube style tv looked better in SD than my HD.. you'd think it'd be able to replicate at least an equal picture to my old tv for the SD signal.

They're in CA as well so shipping is usually really fast and cheap. You really can't beat them.

I've gotten all my HDMI cables from Comcast for free. Believe it or not. Every time the guy comes out I ask for one. BWAHAHAHA!

I never watch anything in SD anymore. Everything I want to watch is in HD. Rules.

They're on my HD channels but they're only upconverted 480 in 4:3 not 1080i in 16:9 like Simpsons etc. (Comcast in Walnut Creek)

comcast is so wacked on how they program their channel line up...

for example, in fremont, where i am, we had fiber optic in the streets for years, but somehow, they never utilized it until recently.

and some of the HD channels can go pound sand.

for example, recently, LIVING WELL just showed up out of the blue...

but NFL NETWORK is scheduled to disappear soon...

sigh...

This X 10^11th power!

Unfortunately there's not much you can do about standard def looking like garbage on an HDTV. I don't think that OLEDTVs are going to fix this either
