I"m a big hiero fan, if ya are looking for an ablum to add to that list everyone should get a a copy of Del's "Future Development" I love that Cd. Also it just recently came out but Masta Ace "A Long hot Summer" is a tight cd. I listen to it all the time in my car. Track 21 "revelations" that's a good one.

I've heard of Aesop Rock (only one song) and Blackalicious is actual bumpin' in my WRX. "Feel That Way" is one of the greatest kick-back songs I've heard.

As for hip-hop, its in a state of emergency. What happened to the songs like "Renee" from the Lost Boyz, or "Tried by Twelve" by the East Flatbush Project, or all the original rap and hip-hop? Zion-I and Hieroglyphics are some of the few still stayin' true to the hip-hop roots. Speaking of Roots, what happened with them? Their beats are so instrumental anymore. They're making a shift from ?uestlove's instrumental force to Black Thought's lyrics. Even they're video has Black Thought as their focus. I guess the most we can do is just wait till the whole "get crunk" dirty south music fades out.

I copped that cuz you recommended Immortal Technique to us a while back. That shiet's fire! Although I did download the album on MP3 that was encoded badly, but what I heard, I like what he had to say, and the issues he addressed in his music. I just wanted to see what Immortal Technique's all about before droppin' some cash on some CD's. I'm convinced. It's good to know that hip-hop still has social power.
