SCS POS modified Yellow WRX!?!?

SCS POS modified Yellow WRX!?!?

What's the deal with the Yellow WRX that they are selling at SCS. Don't get me wrong... I think the car looks pretty cool, but there's a lot that doesn't make sense.....
They were doing a pretty good job of trying to sell the car to my friend..... but I got a few questions... maybe somebody knows the history about the car?

So, the car has nice sway bars and tires. It's no doubt that this car sticks to the road.
The guy claims that it is 285 hp as a result of vishnu tuning.... Sounds, and moves like BS to me.....
Maybe i'm blind, which is possible, but all I saw was an HKS bov under the hood..... anybody know where the 285 comes from!?
While the guy was driving the car... or rather... while the guy was driving the car into the ground.... I kept an eye on the boost gauge.... the thing didn't break 10 psi. After a few minutes of driving, the car got a flashing CEL which, he explained, was "not important, it's just what happens when you modify a car". HAHA
Under the seats were two amps!... they looked pretty sizeable... although I didn't get a very good look. There were no speakers though!!!

The car looked like a big POS.... and to top it off... anyone think he'll get the $27k he's asking for!?!?

I don't think the car is worth more than $15k... the CEL and low boost makes me sceptical

Who knows anything about this car!? and sorry if I've offended the previous owner!!!

ps 285 at the crank (maybe up pipe down pipe and exhaust?)

Yeah and a vishnu ecu reprogramming, that's what I was thinking as well.

the only thing I think that would have been unnoticed by me would have been a DP and vishnu tuning.... ......... BUT, with 10 PSI !?!?!?!

Yeah, that's just plain strange. it could have a had a leak in the boost guage plumbing I suppose... that would give a low reading.

yeah, 10 psi is pretty odd if you ask me. After having a mechanical boost gauge on now for about a week, I boost to 14psi in second gear almost every time.

My friends brother almost got that car for $22K will all the mods, I guess the previous owner wanted an STi and traded in his yellow wrx. I thought that thing was bought long ago, but its been there for like almost a year now. =\

I think I need to have my car painted bright yellow, that would kick ***!

any type of boost controller? I ask this because you are able to hit 14 psi in 2nd.

ok, so a little hot air.

12psi in 2nd, 13.5? in 3rd.
I have a honkin huge 60mm mechanical boost gauge so its easier to read.

my accessport gives me 13.7 psi consistently. I think stock... 12+ right?
BUT, 10!?!? talk about pos!

i think somethines not right. Even on a stock car it should be able to pass 10.
