Here is a good graph. The ones to watch are the option adjustable and alt A mortgages - someone correct me if I'm wrong but the ALT A had some pretty lax/shady standards (almost as bad as Sub Prime) and there are a crapload ready to reset!! I think these are destined to fail.

Now the option adjustable imo is the curveball. These aren't necessarily people that spent beyond their means. A good portion are people with relatively good jobs and decent credit. The question is - did the economy hurt these people? Did they see the crisis and prepare? Or did they do a cash out refi on a home that is now worth half what they paid....? Only time will tell....

Bottom Line: Its a great time to buy and it will continue to be as good (most likely better) going forward the next 2 years...

Job had me move 6.5 months ago after waiting 6 months for the job. Was suppose to be remote up until last minute. Had me move down 130 miles away, then layed me off 2 weeks ago, giving me less than 2 weeks severance. Stuck in a lease until end if July. No other tech jobs in area.

Total dirtbag company. Smith Micro, don't ever get involved with them, not worth your time. Never worked for a worse place, that had such terrible project managers and people deciding things whom can be described in one sentence "out to lunch in the brain". Terrible products.

Software Quality Engineer's christmas bonus=50 dollar chilis card, no bs.
