I'm wondering if that's the stuff the dude from Hungary fed me at RIM and made me turn yellow.

Had gnarly stuff... then when I was done with that he gave me some stuff that he said was banned in ireland.

It's literally only good for hot toddies or maybe to make some kind of desert. It's way too sweet and tastes like isht.

even in Poland this 96% of alcohol vodka is considered as a "hard liquor" (40% is more like a soda). Shiet is strong....how do I know that?
I'm Polish.

Since any of the PVW Family Reserve series releases only once or twice yearly, my advice is to make friends with your local liquor store owner. Or, you can join an American whiskey club at a local store that gives you first right of refusal when they get their 2-3 bottles/year. Since Traverso's closed in November, taking their whiskey clubs with them, I've joined two others in SF where I live. Not sure if I'll be timely enough to get in on the December shipment, but I am collecting some really good whiskey in the meantime.

Great timing for this thread. I'm selling off some of my vintage and rare whiskies to pay for a new exhaust system.

Thanks for the info. I made friends with a Bev-Mo store manager in the east bay and he informed me they receive it once a year in the winter and that the majority of the early spring release go to smaller locations and restaurants. Hopefully I'll be able to get a few bottles this winter and i was also bummed when Traverso's close, what a shame....
