Halfmoon Bay - December weather?

Thanks Jodice. Some drizzle and some overcast is ok, I guess, as long as the horizon is still "viewable". It's heavy fog and/or heavy rain that I wouldn't want to deal with.....

This morning drove highway 1north to hmb to 92east...was sunny all the way from sc til 5 miles before hmb where it became foggy again...and then like 2miles onto 92east the sun came out again...

Reminds me of when I worked in Monterey and would be asked by tourists "So when is a good time of year to visit?"
Answer: "Your guess is as good as mine."
Overcast skies will not ruin your visit to HMB though. Cloud cover is part of the "small coastal village" charm, IMHO.

I love HMB. My girl and I have been going there for like 4 years when we need to get away. Couple of good places to eat, a couple of breweries, a winery, cool bed and breakfast, hang at the beach, horseback riding, and even hiking in the redwoods. Hit me up if ya need details. But ya, the weather is pretty much always foggy.
