Halfmoon Bay - December weather?

Sup folks! Just want to query folks from halfmoon bay on how the weather is out there during December?

I'm planning a weekend getaway with the gf on December, but don't want it to be "ruined" by overcasts and fog and whatnot.

Thanks for the input!

Well, that sucks. If I want fog, I'll just stay here in my apartment LOL.

Oh well, time to look at other spots, I guess.

Hahaha half moon bay weather you ask.

You don't know till the day of. With this weird season shift we've had some weird weather. Sunny high 60s to...... 30s in April? So..... yeah. Don't count on it being foggy or rainy or sunny. Like today. Sunny and warm lol

Hmm, sounds just like SF and Daly City -- weather forecast this morning said overcast 69F. It's nice and bright and shiny right now, LOL!

I really want to make this a memorable weekend, and it'd suck to make reservations only to experience the same fog I get at home. We'll see......I'll do some more research.

Oh, thanks slugrx and Heedz for chiming in!!!

Santa Cruz is nice, been there a few times. I'll look into it as well.

Only been at stinson beach once, and I thought the drive was well worth it. Will look into this.

At the moment, the front-runner now is Monterey, as it's easy to find activities, even if the weather calls for cuddling inside a hotel suite

Read carefully, and where the comma is, made the difference. Cause that's how I read it when I skimmed it.
