Picking up a Benelli Montefeltro. I'm hoping to do a little bird hunting later this year once my shoulder gets better. For now, I'll just look at it.

didn't want to start a new thread, but what do u guys think of the Ruger SR9? I know the earlier ones had some problems with a recall and whatnot, but any of u guys have any input on this gun?

Also I've read the yelp reviews about City Arms in Pacifica. Seems like the place to go. Just wondering if any of u guys had experience with this shop.

 

city arms is a great place to go, been there many times

 

I have AR-15 and a Kimber TLE 2 and love them

 

bought my first handgun from city arms. they will hook you up!

 

Ruger and center-fire pistols = bad

 

They're cheap and reliable. Plus they're heavy with sharp edges.

 

I've seen a lot of Ruger recalls on handguns over the years... recoil suppression kinda sucks.

I say this owning and really liking 2 Rugers (a Mini 14 and a 22/45)

Stupidest thing Ive ever heard you say... Really stupid. The XD is a very proven gun that wont jam like your POS SIG.

yes, it has a goofy grip to conform to the even sillier gun laws in kalifornia...

 

I actually shoot Glocks and 1911's more than anything else these days. But as for SIG, it's far from a POS.

Last time I checked the SEALs, SAS/SBS, Polish GROM all use Sig Sauer pistols. How many Tier 1 units use the XD?
