not many. I had some with my then SO but those are all gone as I'm getting married.

Actually I was insanely fit as anyone that knew me back then could attest. I graduated high school at a very very fit 168 pounds. My freshman year of college I hit the weight gainer and put on 40 pounds of muscle. Could bench around 300 pounds. Leg press I never maxed out. I did OVER 1000 pounds 5 times after I had already done my circuits for the day just to see if I could max out. Think the actual weight was 1010. Figure my max was around 1300 pounds. I didn't get my lisense until I was 20. I road my bike EVERYWHERE. Between 200-250 per week on average. I used to race Dual Slalom actually. I spent my life very fit. Was a multiple sport athlete. I have letters in Volleyball, baseball and football. Would have gotten one in basketball my freshman year but I had a disagreement with the coach after scoring 30 points and quit. When I graduated I could dunk EASILY. Mind you I'm barely over 5'10". I have a scar on my head to prove it..haaaa.

so don't be so surprised.

In 1997 I got hit by a car. I partially seperated my shoulder. Popped my ribs off my sternum and tore a butt load of muscles. I was forced to get my lisense and start driving. My bike got stolen a month into my recovery and then I got a desk job in san francisco.....that lead to me ballooning up to 265 pounds.

I'm now down to 240. I plan to be around 210 when I get married so you'll see me at that weight again.

Anyone that has snowboarded with me can attest that even at 260 pounds I am not a bad athlete.

As for the fighting bit. Not one of you knew me before I went to bible college and not one of you knew me before I spent a lot of time changing my mind frame on life. The few that did can tell you that I've been in some good ones and only been knocked out once. I've thrown 2 punches in anger in like the last 7 years. Both people hit the floor.

Only guy on here that can even slightly attest to that on me is justin. Bluwrxwagon

I'm not a vein person so I don't have a box of pictures of myself but I'm sure they're out there.

that's all I was saying....These guys are highly trained athletes that dedicated their lives to the art of combat. Many of them previous to that dedicated it to street fighting. These guys are unbelievable.

All I was saying was that at one point I think I could give some of them a run for their money as in street fighting it's more about controlled anger and a lack of fear that wins fight over skill. A guy in my car club actually worked over a UFC fighter not more than a month ago in a bar in southern california.

in no way was I saying I could ever step into a ring and expect to take one of these guys out on a regular basis...especially now..haa.

Hopefully I'll be able to get some training in and get to spar with some of them to get my *** tossed around for a while. My fiance's brother used to train under the same guy as Liddell. Great gym.

BJJ in a streetfight FTL. But one on one in a caged environment I always believe a pure grappler, BJJ or otherwise, is unbeatable.

When The Ultimate fighter Reality show season 3 winner, Travis Luter, fights the current UFC middleweight champ, Anderson Silva, we will see a pure striker Vs Pure grappler...can't wait.

Oh, and please don't pass on hearsay about Rickson that isn't true. I have heard personally from Renzo that that is a bogus story and Rickson has never had his *** kicked in LA or any other place.

buddy of mine used to train (boxing) with this guy that was suppose to represent the U.S. as the a heavy weight in the 96 Olympics. 3 weeks before he was suppose to leave he was told not to spar anymore. Just do traininga and prepare to leave. He was at the gym and a gracie trained "grappler" challenged him and he said sure. He completely destroyed the guy. While the guy was on the ground and he was walking away the guy grabbed his leg and blew his knee out. Ended his olympic dreams forever as he was already old. I think 32 or so.

Doesn't matter how good of a grappler you are...if you can't get the other guy on the ground you're going to loose.

That's true. I heard the same from a guy I know who can really box, by the time his opponent had got the takedown he was already bust open and bleeding. That's what I like about Travis Luter / Rickson etc.. they make the take down look easy and do it without taking any damage.

Just watched the fight...man...Hughes looked like an amateur in that fight. Going into the second round Hughes had the "This guy is kicking my ***" look on his face. The fight just made my day.
