GSP deserves the title. In my opinion, there are no welter weights (in the UFC) that can beat him right now.

Hughs was off that night, gsp had it from the begining. Hughs was kicked in the ***** twice, saved by the bell in the first round and in the second was stunned by a fake ball kick to a jump reverse punch that caught him in the forehead and stunned him and gsp followed up with a clean left hook right on the chin which brought hughes down where gsp mounted him and unleashed a flurry of punches and elbows before the ref called the fight.

Short , but great fight imo.

Thinking you're tough is one thing. Being able to beat up your friends is one thing.

Proving it professionally is something entirely different.

You fool, you don't know Ray, he will bust a cap in any of these MMA fighter's *** and then knife them to death.

Like Rickson Gracie getting his *** kicked at a bar in LA. Aparently BJJ don't work too well against a multiple armed opponents. O I think that would be called streetfighting...

I also would have blown him away w/ an Extrema 2

If there was no GSP in UFC, I would stop watching.

It was great!

NOW- Time for PJ Penn to fight GSP again, and take his damn title back. If he's healthy (he was ill when he fought hughes) he'll win. PJ Penn is the ****, and I really hope he gets his shot at HIS belt!

Good job for GSP, I like him, and I'm glad he knocked Hughes senseless.

Exactly!

If that fight happens, GSP and Penn, I think I'll throw it at my place.

Ray, you have pictures of you back in? I would be surprised to see a very fit you 10 years back.

These guys are serisously fit.

and UFC fighters pale in comparison to Pride fighters... Pride is where it's at.
