okay just got off the phone and it was all baddddd. $140 is the lowest they will go even if we have this large of group because it's alot of work for them.

Zoeb told me about another shop close to mpj that they send their cars to, subydude does, and also gruppe-s does. Ill give that shop a call and see what prices they will give since i know $140 is pretty pricey for alot of you guys.

yup...see my post earlier...price wise.

$140 is worth it.

You might be able to get like $100-120 from another shop though...who knows. I am yet to see another shop that actually paints the rubber seal instead of leaving it black....I took pictures of my car yesterday and on my way home came inches from hitting 2 deer. errr. But I'll post them up tomorrow. Left the camera in my car....hope that's wear it is anyways.

I know of a shop in berkeley area that gives incredible deals.... they price me at 40% of creative kustoms... with a llife time warranty....
but i've never talked to them about skirts.
furthermore, the process of sanding the skirts down first, etc, is something that not many paint shops have done

I'm certain that 140 is the same price they give you if you paint 1 pair of side skirts

okay i just got off the phone with the shop zoeb told me about. It is Master's Auto Body and Paint in Hayward. Like i said they do alot of work for subydude and i've heard its good work. They normally charge $80 per car but they are willing to do it for $50!!!!

Ill pm everyone who is on the list and make sure you are still wanting to do this and then ill give Dennis at the shop a call. I didnt get a time span of how long it will take but we will probably drop off the sideskirts then pick them up in a couple days.

Sweet... please let me know about getting 02 Blaze Yellow done. My car is scheduled to go into Carlsen tomorrow morning, so I think I'll pull the skirts off tonight, just in case.

okay just got off the phone with Dennis again. He said to go ahead and remove the sideskirts from your car, its only a couple bolts/clips. Ill try and get a link showing you to if some of you guys are unsure. He said that you guys can start bringing the sideskirts whenever you want and to be sure to attach a note to them with the paint color of your car. Heres the info on the shop so you guys know how to get there. Also if you guys want to chip in a few bucks each for my sideskirts for putting this group buy together feel free

okay here are some quotes from people on how to remove sideskirts (just did a search on nasioc)

"There is 1 clip in the front inside fenderwell and 6 pop rivets underneath. Remove them all and then you can take the sideskirt off."

"there are about 5 or 6 gray pieces underneath the car in the shapes of circles (clips) stick a flat head screw driver in the space and twist to make them pop out. once your done with that, pull the black pieces underneath the heads of them. the last screw is in the wheel well and is a pita. i just kinda ripped it out, but i reused it. (needle nose and flat head) now simply jostle the sideskirt and it will fall off. really simple"

nope, just drop them off whenever and tell them you are part of the subaru i-club group deal and be sure to leave a note on the sideskirts saying which color car you have.
