how much is it? i might be getting an 04 this sat, so it'd be a nice present for myself. =P is it very reliable? i go to the snow a lot, so would that destroy the paint job?

i believe the last group buy price was $80 to get them painted. Once the list is almost full i'm going to give them a call to get things sorted out. I'm sure its just like the normal paint on your car, if something hits it of course its going to chip. But if snow gets on it or dirt you can just wash it off and it will be like new.

my car is in the shop right now along with fryrice's car.

I have to call them in a few minutes to see when my car is gonna be done and how long it would take them to pain those plastic pieces on the rear wheel well if I have time for that.haaaa. last minute thought.

you guys think I should paint that?

I can talk to george when I call them if you want? See how much he thinks it might cost. Last time I talked to him it sounded like that was kind of a one time deal and next time the price would go up. So I wouldn't hold my breath for $80 but who knows....If I had to guess I'd think $100-120.

Regular price is up over $150 now I think.

Just got off the phone with creative...not the best news for you guys.

they're new price is $160. Lowest they will go is $140.

You might call them when you have a larger group together and see if they'll go lower but that's what they said.

I'd be interested if the price is < $100. There's a vendor selling brand new OEM painted ones for $182. Assuming tax and shipping cancel each other out, there's no way I'm paying $150 to get my stock ones painted when I can get the real deal for $30 more (and possibly sell my stock ones to offset that cost).
