I've never dealt with this shop but like i said before Joe from Subydude and other shops like MPJ send all their car's here. They have painted skirts before and painted TONS of hood scoops for subydude. Im sure the paint will match 100%. Im going to be dropping my skirts off tommorow as well as some other peoples so when i get them back ill be sure to post pics.

it's gong on right now. The address is in the first post and also somewhere on the third page. Just bring them your sideskirts and tell them your part of the iclub group deal.

One more thing... do we need to clean the side skirts before giving it to them or will they do all the prep work? Mine are kind of crusty.

Also, I'm starting to think about the whole "you get what you pay for" motto... $50 vs. $140 is a damn big difference. Is Masters going to prep, clean, sand, use that plastic adhesion treatment, etc. and all of that good stuff? Not trying to burst anyone's bubble but it seems too good to be true.

If you sideskirts are covered in a bunch of junk i would probably clean them up a little bit, its not that hard to get a wet rag and wipe them down. When i talked to them they said they do all the prep work (sanding, priming, etc....) I agree it sounds too good to be true, their normal price is $80-100 for sideskirts but because we are a large group and because the owner does business with alot of suby shops they are giving us a great deal.

Dennis said I was the first one to drop it off, 3:30 today.. I asked him about the bumps and he said that after painting it is not going to be 100% smooth, but the paint won't come off unless you chip it with a rock, etc.. He also said if there are any problems just bring it back..

On another note.. there is a black rubber strip on the sideskirts.. do people put that back on after it is painted? I'm not sure how it'll look.. Dennis took them off before painting..

i heard that some of the good places paint that black strip for you too. it seems like it would be important. i hope they paint it and put it back. it would look wierd with the skirts painted, and then a black strip interrupting the color flow.

i for one actually like the strip left black. I think it needs "black" to go with the door trim and the black plastic trim above skirt next to the real wheel well. That, and if its isnt painted/ prepped correctly it will flake.
