I must admit, I'm broke because I collect cars.
I have about 10+ Skylines, no doubles.

30 and up lap races--does fuel weight play a part in the race ? If I pit and only fuel x number of gallons, will the car stay lighter ? Is it noticeable in tire wear ?

Wrapped up The Gran Turismo All Stars gold (finally got the Minolta Toyota) and the first endurance race (60 laps) gold this weekend. My eyes are bleeding.

i like to say fuel weight makes a difference. i knocked out one of my fastest lap in the Grand Valley Enduro on low fuel with fresh tires. tire wear seems to be about the same though. strangely i can run a longer stint with the soft vs. the hard. the race hard i just couldn't get them to work.

It makes a difference on handling from what I can tell....but fuel and tire wear will be your primary factors for determining when you pit on enduro races. Unless you set a strength percentage for your pit strategy, but I could care less if my driver gets tired!!

i just remember that i was going to do a long stint, so i got the tank full with racing hard. that's probably why the hard tires didn't last and i wasn't able to get them to stick...or maybe the alcohol was kicking in.
