I remember hearing GT5 pre-orders were really high, but I believe that was for Europe and Japan where PD expects A LOT of sales to come from. Oh well, we get it in an hour and the hype beast for GT5 will be released.

ima just wait for another 10 hours to pick my copy up. i figured i would rather just play the game once i pick it up rather then have to stop in the middle of my session and go to the mall to cancel it. plus i already almost paid for the whole collectors edition when i preordered it. we've waited a really long time for this and i dont want to be interrupted when i start playing gt5 =]

i called the walmart supercenter in dixon yesterday afternoon and was told that there would be copies of gt5 available midnight. when i get there at midnight, i ask two employees to check if they had any copies of gt5 and they couldn't find any.

I'm waiting for mine to install now. I drove from Santa Clara to the Gilroy Walmart to get it. We should start doing I-club GT5 races...

The person that got GT5 last week who has been posting reviews and info on the game, mentioned they really improved on the sound in GT5. That was something that always bothered me too. Everything pretty much sounded the same especially when you started modding them.
