so my PS3 did something weird. i was getting a new car and while it was loading the car, the car never loaded. the music kept going and the screen was blank. the saving message went on for a bit then off then on. so i shut the PS3 down, turned it back on and it sounded funny. repeat and when the PS3 spins the disc, it still made a funny noise. let it sit for 20 min, seems to be ok now. hope my bluray drive isn't nearing death.

Everyone make sure to check your Game Save Files. Don't let it get to 4165kb. The next update on Feb 18th should fix it, for those who haven't seen this yet.

I been playing everyday since day one and I'm only at 900kb..the article said that they are not even sure if the next update is gonna fix the problem, we can only hope..it's gonna take alot of effort/time to even get to 2000kb let alone 4000kb of saved data so I think majority of us are gonna be ok

Grinding on the Suzuka enduro, I decide to see how my boys are doing. I turn it on and it's like a skating rink at a hockey match: cars strewn all over the track, cars spinning, including mine. It's raining, like ti was when the race first started ,but wtf ? Check his tires, he's on racing hard, and probably so is everyone else. I make him pit for a tire change, go back out, everyone still slipping and sliding, he's running into everyone. Then the Pit light comes on again! And it's doing it for every lap right now, like it wants him to go in for race hard tires, not stay on wets. So now I'll probably have to cancel Pit for every lap. Lap 80+ was when I started watching.
Glitch ? Anyone come across this ? It's hilarious but at the rate they're going, this race will take more than the 5 hours I've seen them finish it. LOL!

so I just keep grinding Suzuka but just check at it once it's after 5hrs.wait till you see them racing in the rain 
As for the saves issue you probly gotta have tons of cars to even get your saves file size to be that big.most I've seen mine is in the 800.

Maybe or just try to maintain the vents dust free.even with a fan pointing at it the dust will just end up blocking it.I checked mine when it acted up and there was quite a good amount of dust coming out when I was cleaning it.
