LOL Yea you thought the OP was gonna complain about getting STI or a STD?

Simply put in short words. For those of you who are telling him to buy a single wheel from a distributor, its discontinued. Doesn't hurt to try to hit them up and ask if they have one in stock, but the chances of it being the same size, offset, lug pattern, color... etc are very slim. People please stop suggesting that idea. For the price of a new wheel, you would be paying a little more than the repair, unless the repair is a big grip.

Repairing a spoke that has been cracked all the way through....... hmm lets think about that one. The alloy's structural integrity is already jeopardized, any "repairs" for a broken spoke will be no better than just slabbing some jb weld in side and around the crack. No matter how firm the repair, it'll never be as safe as one that has no damage. You will have one weak spoke compared to the rest. I don't believe in repairing that.

180 is a great deal for all 4, now if you can luckily find someone selling 1 individual then you will be again in luck.

I'm not sure if Wheeldude even sells these wheels anymore...Never seen em before.

Nevermind this has already been discussed.

My friend owns a company that does wheel repair for pretty cheap. They do great work!

I hate to be a dick. But something needs to be said here.

You got those cheap. You should have known something was up. You also get what you pay for. Take it as a learning lesson and move forward.

When you buy something used. ITS USED!!! You can't go back later for a refund or try and make the guy pay you back. I know this is going to upset some of you. But ****... what is this world coming to. You want cheap and perfect, and if its something you missed on inspection you expect something in return? You inspected it, You bought it. You learn from it.
Like I said ... I'm not trying to be a dick. I'm just throwing this out there. And yes... I have been screwed over in the past much worse.

Rite-Way Wheel in Walnut Creek. They've fixed bends and rash for my BBS and done work for a couple of my friends. Great shop, they will let you know if it's repairable or not.

Also, don't show up at his house. Sale is a sale, unless you have proof/evidence that he knew it was cracked, just move on. $180 is not a rip off at all, especially if you looked at them all before handing over the money.

sorry guys! I was at work!
anyways the guy emailed me back and he said he didin't know there was a crack and he's willing to take them back...
I like the rims but I can't even find any more of these to replace the fourth one, the wheel dude didn't have any and he said I shouldn't repair it..
the guy was actually a really nice dude who apologized plenty of times, I guess I'm gonna return them to him..
anyone interested in 3 rota revs?

Caveat emptor. In the future, inspect craigslist purchases.
