hate to be the one to say this but he got you. take it as a loss and buy one new rim. you didnt take the time to look at every rim, that's not his fault that's yours for not checking out what you were giving him your money for. i recently bought a set of rims and tires at fair market value from a member on this site (no names) and i didnt take the time to inspect each of the tires. two were worn out and and two were nearly new, AKA horrible combo on a subaru. i wasn't going to bash him publicly or try to get money back because i was too stupid to take a minute to check out what i was giving my hard earned money for. even at $150 for a new rim you still got a descent set of rotas for half price. dude honestly for your own safety you should never meet someone from craigslist without their phone number and running a basic reverse phone look up to know their full name never hurts.

I mean if you got all 4 for $180 can't really complain. Cause that's already a steal, yes I know it sucks you gotta repair that wheel. However, its like another 150 investment. $330 for a set of wheels...you know what I'm saying.

That looks pretty bad, so I am not sure that one can be fixed. I'd also say call Wheel Techniques.

Just buy a new wheel.

At $180, you had to have known they were either stolen or fubar in some way.

Uh, you def didn't get screwed. $180 for 3 wheels is a great price! You can't get other wheels for even close to that price. Suck it up and buy a 4th wheel, don't bother repairing it... Way more headache and even in the end it wont be as good as a new one.

Call wheeldude and get a single wheel from him.

Rota no longer produces the Rev, so unless you find one deadstock somewhere your best bet will be to see if it can be repaired.

As an aside, I'm skeptical about welding a cast aluminum wheel that has a spoke cracked all the way through.

That's what I'm saying too. Even if they can fix it, I don't think I'd be comfortable driving on it.

I came to say this.

Revs are discontinued. You're not going to find another one to replace the broken one. Nor will you be able to repair the crack.

3 wheels for $180 isn't a bad deal. The only problem is that you need 4.

Is it bad that I think these might be AR's old wheels? I remember him having a set of Revs and cracking one. Looks like he gave them away to someone.
