Got my first speeding ticket since I was 18!

It shouldn't be too bad. I'm assuming that they will let you do traffic school so the point doesn't hit your insurance. I got dinged for 75 on 280 and the fine was just over the $100 mark (maybe $130). Obviously traffic school cost some $s in addition.

Mine was a fair ticket too. I actually was doing 75 and the dude was polite and professional. I was a bit bummed about getting a ticket for just 10 over given that the freeway was pretty much empty at the time.

I just got a ticket recently going to the Indi cars at Infinion. I'm pretty good about looking for cops, but I had a friend in a car and we we're chatting away. As I passed some cars up, I saw the lights behind me. The ticket was 175, but it included not changing my address @ DMV within 10 days.

But let me tell you what I was thankful about. I have a higly modded car/fmic/no cats and I got away clean. I recently black out the fmic and put a little screen over it. I saw her look at it for a second and just keep going. I didn't have a front license plate and she mentioned that. I just added my license plate and cut it down a little so it doesn't affect airflow to the IC.
