got my citation in the mail
well i got the thingy in the mail for my speeding ticket and im going to try to do the ticket assassin thing, but the problem is, is that it doesnt say i can have a trial by written declaration, it only says i can pay the fine($486). so my question is, how or am i even allowed to do this by mail? do i have to pay the fine first? it doesnt even have an address on the thing to send mail to.

damn 486 dollars? how fast were you going?
also it should say in where to send money to. usually "Clerk of the Court" at whatever court you are supposed to goto.
You mail in your check, and a request for your trial by written declaration. Some courts will send the check back to you along with your form, others will hold on to it until your fees are due, or you are proven not guilty.

from ticket assasin's web site:
" The law allows you to contest any traffic infraction entirely by mail. You can appear via mail through a Written Not Guilty Plea pursuant to CVC 40519(b). In your plea you can request a Trial by Written Declaration pursuant to CVC 40902. In this way you can contest your citation without appearing at all and, for reasons already discussed, will have a better chance of winning than at trial. "
cheers

my 75 in a 50 was $250 after traffic school.
read ticketassassin.com, pay the $25, do your homework, hope for the pass.
