good times at stevens creek subaru?

has there ever been a time in the history of the universe that stevens creek subaru has been a non bad dealer ship, or has any one had a non bad experince there? Im so tempted to go there.... its like 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ,6, 10 traffic lights away from my house most of those are on stevens creek. Its just so close it seems like such a waste to go to redwoodcity or santa cruz. So frusterating...

Yeah, don't go there. Seriously. Don't go there.

God himself could give me a glowing (in a literal, as well as figurative sense) review of SCS... and I'd _think_ about it.

Alternatively, at this point, someone would have to cut me a check with high numbers in 5 digits, minimum =p

if you want a great price AND the best service you will ever get from a car dealership, go to Santa Cruz Subaru.

the time and gas it takes to drive to either redwood city or santa cruz far outweighs the stress put on by stepping foot into stevens creek dealership. it would be a total waste to go to stevens creek. instead of a potential waste by going to the others.

couple of things.

you skipped 7, 8 and 9.

you know what... i know people that have had bad experiences there... but i haven't been there... so personally I can't really say for a fact that they suck.

however, we have had a lot of people on this board (and even the old one) that have have posted on here w/ issues they had w/ them.

they have been on this board, even went to one of our meets to try and fix things.

why not give it a shot man. and report back to us.

we always hear the negative crap...

go there... and let us know if the reputation is deserved.

i might even go down there just because they have the largest inventory of cars. (i'm still deciding on what car to go w/ on my next "project car").

oh I have been there and was treated awfully, i was just ranting. they have to turn so many people off of subies. I mean they wanted 28k before ttl for an 05 wagon that was w/o options, that is nuts. I know not having another dealer close by turned my parents off subarus. Just wish that they could empty out everyone there and start over and make a non crappy dealer.

then make your own decision on whether or not you'd like to come talk to me or someone else.

I highly recommend quiting and trying to find a job at a different dealership before SCS corrupts you and you become just like one of them.

i appreciate your concern, but even considering no experience in the field, no advantage to speak of other than i'm a fanatic about the cars (with a fair amount of enthusiast-level technical knowledge), they gave me a shot-

i didn't find the thread referenced until after that, but even though it obviously created concerns for me (as it probably would have for anyone), i decided if they thought i deserved a chance, the least i could do is return the courtesy.

at any job you'll eventually see something going on around you that you don't like- the "utopian" dot-coms i worked at in the late 90s were no different, because sometimes people are people and there isn't squat you can do about that. but i inherited a pretty strong personality from my parents, and at 27y/o i'm pretty confident that i can keep my moral fiber together.

since you seem to think i'm a decent guy, accept this challenge: come by in a few weeks and test-drive a new 2.5 WRX with me @ your convenience- "secret-shop" like i said, no mention of i-club or NASIOC or whatever- and then you can PM me later to let me know if i'm being negatively affected by the influence of others.
