Sound good to everyone? Than I need new hoses and a thermostat.

Will have it towed home so it is not in Kevin's way over at AutoHQ.

Boosted to get on the freeway at Oregon expressway than was just doing 65 until I saw the steam at, University, the next exit. When I saw the steam coming from the engine bay I looked down at the temp (stock temp gauge I know is not the most accurate) It was nominal. I than turned the car off and coasted to the shoulder. I do not think there was any damage done to the motor.

The quality all goes into the welds on the fins and the construction of the radiator tank, I would go with KOYO if you want a sturdy product with better quality control that goes a long way.
Whys that?

Because they have lower quality control and will eventually crack or leak. You just might be a lucky one.

Servo: Dum-da-dum-dum-dum.... oh, hello Mike! Everything working fine on the ol' Satellite of Love? No problems or mishaps today?
Mike: Nope, everything appears to be nominal.
Servo: Ah, nominal! Good! Good! So I guess you're not wondering what that rhythmic pounding might be?
Mike:[listens] Yeah, what is that?
Servo: Yeah, what is that? I'm a highly sophisicated robot, Mike, and I've got to tell you, this isn't normal. Something's causing this, Mike. Now, let's see... I'm here, you're here, Gypsy's here....
Mike: Okay, Tom. Where's Crow?
Servo: Where's Crow? Well, I wasn't supposed to say anything, but I did see the little moron heading to the basement with a pickaxe in his hands!
[Crow breaches the satellite's hull as he tries to escape, causing the air to be sucked out]
Crow: Woah, I didn't expect this!
Servo: Attaining.... maximum RPM.... adjust pitch and yaw thrusters..... stabilize! There, that ought to [gets sucked towards hole] AAAAAAAAAAH!!!
. . .
Crow: Well, this is confusing! Mike, could you hand me my calculations?
[A wad of paper is blown across the bay and hits Crow in the face.]
Crow: Thank you! Huh, would you look at that: "Breach Hull - All Die"! Even had it underlined!
. . .
[Servo lands right-side up on the hole]
Servo: Hey, I'm experiencing a sensation altogether new to me, and frankly... I LOVE IT!
. . .
[Crow explains his unsuccessful attempt to burrow a way out of the Satellite of Love.]
Crow: Believe me, Mike, I calculated the odds of this succeeding against the odds I was doing something incredibly stupid… and I went ahead anyway.

I have the Koyo All Aluminum Radiator in my car as well. Definitely approve of that one. I am using it with the stock radiator caps as well and have not had any issues.

Honestly with the radiator caps it seems like a lot of them are just about who you want to advertise for on the cap.

Cool thanks for the link! I don't think I need the cap! It is just a daily driver at the moment.

Did you have any issues with the fan fitting due to the thicker radiator?

Thanks everyone for answering questions that have been asked a million times already, I know it gets tedious. Recently as well, I seem to remember just seeing this same thread.

Thanks Ed but I think I am going to get an aluminum one online, unless you want to match the price (or get close to it as I would gladly pay a little more to help local business) of $326.60 Shipped. I do not need it that quick as I can always drive the Alltrac.

Honestly, I didn't check the weight difference. The Koyo is definitely a really nice unit and it is thicker, but I didn't really check into the actual weight difference. I wouldn't be surprised though as to even if the Koyo is lighter it may end up being heavier overall as it can hold more fluid than the stock radiator.

No fan fitment issues. Just had to make sure the radiator hoses were trimmed properly so they are not in the path of the fan blades, but once everything is at the correct length it hasn't been any issues. If you happen to be out at the VJJ Meet tomorrow I can show you what everything looks like with the Koyo installed in my car.

Oh I almost forgot I am supposed to rage at people cracking jokes in my help thread.

WTF! If you don't have anything to add that is HELPFULL please STAY THE **** in here and lighten the mood with witty banter. All I did was ask a SIMPLE question and there are almost NO jokes in here. I-club has let me down once again. I don't know why I bother with this websight full of internet tough guys and e-bullies. Your jokes are wanted and appreciated. If you have nothing humorous to add GTFO!
