WARNING !!!!! Dont go to the Hayward Good Gays, I was there to get a measurement on a Wega tv and buy 2 complete audio video set up all I got was arrogant ******. So they look at you and judge you plain and simple..

I went in with my GB work shirt n jeans and smelled like oil and was ready to get a 36" TV and a complete plasma set up with surround for the movie room so I started with the Wega and ask them to bust out a tape measure so I can make it fits the custom set up on the family room and BAMMMM! arrogant as hell....eyed me from head to toe (maybe he is gay, big brother from Nigiria) and the other guy was an @sswipe too..

Oh well they lost my buisness(EASY10G'S b1tch I take elsewhere). UP YOURS GOOD GAYS !!!

that sucks... i would suggest going to a specialty audio/video store with real professionals who know their ish.

 

i don't get some people in retail. who are they to look some one up and down when they themselves are probably just making minimum wage and if they're lucky commission.

I will try my luck with Best Buys.. Unless you folks know of a better place that can really help. I need to get a movie room set up and family room set up on audio video. I have a budget and just need to fit it all in. under $8,000 no furniture need just all gear.

Bose = crap

all of their systems are horrible. you will never get the full sound from those tiny speakers w/ a sub to handle the bass.... trust me.

once you hear a TOP quality system (15k+ price), you'll know the difference. obviously you can spend 1/4 of that and still get a decent sounding system but it's NOT the same.

Video Only is the place you need to go. I can guarantee you won't find the stuff you want anywhere cheaper, and the people there are the least arrogant out of all the stores. Trust me, give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

 

i got similar treatment at Best Buy in folsom. I got pissed and *****ed to the store manager. they gave me a $100 gift card regardless of whether i bought anything or not.
