Generally speaking, people running catless know they aren't being green and don't have status complexes (and generally know how to drive).
On the other hand, most Prius drivers don't know anything about their cars outside the sales brochure (my co-worker thought hybrid batteries last forever), don't know how to drive and were brain washed to believe they are reversing humanity's cabron footprint by being super eco friendly (while doing jack sh*t anything else green outside their Prius)

The people with the complex of reversing our carbon footprint are insane. Reducing further pollution is what im talking bout.
All I said is the prius looks good stanced out, batteries are recyclable and being a little more green than us polluters who get 22mpg.
Flame away guys. You are trying to preach to someone with an unbias point of view here.....

First of all the batteries dont last forever....when they die very costly to replace. This is not news to me.

I think we have a slight misunderstanding. I am not directing it at you d0de. I am in agreement
I was making an observation about less unbiased or educated drivers I meet on every day basis.

In fact, it would be far far less harsh on the environment if they did landfill them. Even the "recycle" process is hugely dirty and consumes boatloads of resources. More than even recycling paper (and that is one of the worst things to recycle out there)
No they are not, you can't look at just what comes out the "tailpipe" you have to look at the total sum of all emissions caused in the life of the car. The pure fact is, a 1970 Nova SS, in its whole lifetime, up to this point in time, has caused less emissions damage than just ONE Prius has. That is including the mining of the steel, the gas it has burned, the creation of said fuels(cracking), the energy it took to mine, smelt, and produce all of the wire/aluminum/etc in the car...and even the waste oils it creates.

I swear only good thing about the Prius is the fuel economy.
