A car is a car. Just trying to be practical. Just need something that gets me from point a to b in a safe and reasonable fashion.

I know of an IS300 sedan (5-speed, omg right?) for sale in Marin. I think it said ~140k miles, and ~$7k. Looked clean. That could solve your practical + FWD dilemma with Toyota quality + RWD 5-spd.

Don't get me wrong... they are reliable cars at newest for the newer cars... but can't say the same about the community.

Or the MR2 I used to have. Talk about a P.O.S.

Was it a P.O.S. before you bought it or after?

Before. During. And still is a POS. Friend sold it to me when it was in the shop. Said that this shop is an MR2 "specialist." Specialist my butt.

So the shop is the problem? Not the actual car ?

Love the black one but with the white ones wheels. ( not the red ones)
